Dr. Christie Wolfenbarger

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Christie Wolfenbarger is the founder of Success Mavericks, Inc. As Founder and CEO, she brings over 25 years of experience in accounting, entrepreneurship, and higher education to organizations ready to helping organizations increase profits through people.

With a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, a background in accounting and marketing, and years of hands-on business ownership experience, Christie brings a unique perspective that bridges the gap between organizational science and real-world business challenges. Unlike many consultants who have only studied workplace culture, Christie has experienced the realities of hiring, leading, developing, and retaining employees as a business owner herself.

Throughout her career, Christie has founded and operated businesses, including a franchise and a family entertainment venue, while also serving as a college instructor and leadership development professional. These experiences have given her firsthand insight into the challenges leaders face when trying to grow their organizations while creating positive and productive workplace cultures.

Christie's research focuses on gratitude in the workplace and its impact on employee well-being, engagement, and organizational success. She is passionate about helping organizations improve retention, strengthen leadership, increase employee engagement, and create environments where employees feel valued, motivated, and empowered to do their best work.

Through Success Mavericks, Inc, Christie partners with organizations to develop stronger leaders, improve workplace culture, enhance employee experience, and align people strategies with business goals. Her approach combines evidence-based organizational psychology with practical business experience to deliver meaningful and measurable results.

Whether she is facilitating a leadership workshop, conducting an organizational assessment, coaching executives, or advising business owners, Christie's mission remains the same: helping organizations build workplaces where employees stay, leaders succeed, and businesses thrive.

Vice President of Operations

Michelle McGlothlin-Williams

Michelle McGlothlin-Williams serves as the Vice President of Operations at Success Mavericks, bringing nearly 30 years of executive leadership, operational strategy, and corporate experience to the organization. Michelle oversees internal operations, strategic growth, systems development, and organizational excellence across all Success Mavericks programs. Her leadership ensures that every coaching engagement, workshop, and corporate partnership operates with precision, scalability, and measurable impact. She is instrumental in building the infrastructure that supports the company’s mission of increasing employee well-being, leadership effectiveness, and sustainable business performance.

Prior to joining Success Mavericks, Michelle built a distinguished career in Corporate America. She spent 19 years at General Electric Corporate Headquarters, serving in senior leadership roles across Global Growth Operations, Crisis Management, Six Sigma, and Logistics. Her experience at GE’s renowned Crotonville Leadership Development Center shaped her disciplined, performance-driven, and people-centered leadership philosophy. Michelle then joined Eastman Chemical Co. where she spent 9 years in progressive leadership roles including: Manager, IT Services-Corporate Pricing, Manager, Global Information Security, and Director, North America Logistics.

As Director of North America Logistics, Michelle led strategy and execution across multiple corporate and manufacturing sites, overseeing commercial supplier strategy and regional business results exceeding $450M in scope.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics with a minor in Psychology from the University of Tennessee. She has also completed executive education at Crotonville (John F. Welch Leadership Development Center) and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

At Success Mavericks, Michelle combines operational excellence with a deep understanding of people and performance, ensuring that strategy turns into execution and vision turns into measurable success.

Chesni Thompson

Director of Marketing

Chesni Thompson serves as the Director of Marketing for Success Mavericks, bringing creativity, strategy, and brand vision to every initiative she leads. With a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management from East Tennessee State University, Chesni combines strong business foundations with innovative marketing execution.

Chesni has several years of experience as a social media content creator and professional photographer, giving her a unique edge in brand storytelling and visual strategy. She understands how to translate a company’s mission into compelling digital content that builds engagement, strengthens credibility, and drives measurable growth.

At Success Mavericks, Chesni leads brand development, content strategy, digital campaigns, and creative direction. Her passion lies in helping organizations communicate their value clearly and authentically while creating marketing experiences that connect, inspire, and convert.
